My name is Stephanie Lynn Barkley. I reside near Syracuse, NY. I like to make art, take pictures, go for long walks and camp. I like birds, to socialize, and the way the air smells in the woods. I like tea and coffee, love nature. Owls fascinate me. I consider myself an artist. I have no idea what I'm doing with my life--but I'm majoring in Fine Arts, hoping it might lead to an Art Therapy degree.

I stumbled upon my foam sculpture, that I did about a year ago, in my garage today.
Sculpture wasn’t a type of art that I was used to, I’m still not used to it.
The only thing I could say I was good at was thinking in layers.
It surprised me when I found it. I forgot all about this project.
My dad helped me SO much. Without him I don’t think I could have got it done.
I don’t know why I picked these colors.
In the end, I don’t think the store had the right spray paints in the right colors that I wanted.
This makes me want to try out something completely different, something that I’m not used to and totally in the dark with.
It’ll be a new adventure!
